Position: Crisis Counselor

Reports to: Counseling Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Crisis Counselor is responsible for providing immediate crisis intervention and counseling services to individuals experiencing emotional distress, trauma, or crisis situations. This role requires the ability to assess clients' needs, provide appropriate interventions, and offer referrals to additional resources if necessary. The Crisis Counselor will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.

2. Provide immediate crisis intervention and counseling services to clients in-person, over the phone, or through digital platforms.

5. Collaborate with clients to develop safety plans and identify appropriate resources for ongoing support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

3. Strong knowledge of crisis management techniques and evidence-based counseling interventions.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with individuals in crisis.
